We’re not a volume-driven agency chasing numbers. We focus on delivering the right people, first time. Whether it’s short-term cover or long-term support, our approach is consistent—understand the requirement, supply properly vetted candidates, and stay accountable throughout.

Our directors are actively involved in the day-to-day running of the business, speaking with clients, supporting the team, and staying close to live projects. That experience filters through the whole company—meaning decisions are made quickly, problems are dealt with properly, and standards don’t slip.
We operate nationally and support a wide range of sectors including construction, civil engineering, mechanical and electrical, and plant hire. From groundworkers and plant operators to site engineers and management staff, we supply both temporary and permanent solutions tailored to each project.
Compliance is a given, not an afterthought. All operatives are vetted, qualified where required (CSCS/CPCS and relevant certifications), and supported by a team that understands site expectations, health & safety requirements, and the importance of reliability.
Most importantly, we build long-term relationships. A large part of our work comes through repeat business and referrals—which says more than any sales pitch ever could.
Based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, Encon Staffing Associates has grown from a two-person start-up into a multi-disciplinary, nationwide recruitment business operating across construction, civil engineering, mechanical & electrical, and specialist cleaning services.
Founded by Giles and Az, who previously worked together in the industry, Encon was built on a shared vision—combine experience, straight-talking service, and high standards to create something better. That approach still underpins everything we do today.
Over the last 23 years, we’ve developed into a team of dedicated consultants, many of whom have been with us for over a decade. That stability says a lot about our culture—we look after our people, and in turn, they look after our clients. It’s a big part of why we deliver a consistent, reliable service.
